About the Role
Salary:£13.00–£14.00 per hour
Mileage:55p per mile
Location:Todmorden and Hebden Bridge
Job Type:Flexible hours available
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Supporting service users with medication in accordance with care plans and relevant procedures.
- Assisting with moving and handling, following appropriate training and safety guidelines.
- Preparing meals and supporting service users with nutrition and hydration.
- Promoting independence, dignity and choice in all aspects of care.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with household tasks where required as part of the care plan.
- Monitoring service users' wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns.
- Maintaining accurate daily records and following individual care plans.
- Adhering to safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety, and infection prevention procedures.
Requirements
- A full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own reliable vehicle.
- A caring, patient and professional approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and the ability to work independently within the community.
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable.
- Relevant care qualifications and training are advantageous.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay of £13.00–£14.00 per hour, depending on experience and suitability.
- Mileage paid at 55p per mile.
