About the Opportunity

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading care provider for an experienced Learning & Development Coordinator to join their Learning & Development team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trainer who is passionate about developing care professionals and improving standards across residential and nursing care services. You'll design and deliver engaging training programmes, support new service inductions, and ensure colleagues have the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.

The role is primarily based across the North West, with occasional travel to other regions as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver mandatory and specialist health and social care training, including Moving & Assisting, Safeguarding, First Aid, Basic Life Support, Dementia Care and the Mental Capacity Act.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions across multiple care services and assess learner competency in line with CQC and Skills for Care standards.
  • Support induction programmes, workplace champions and the ongoing development of care teams.
  • Maintain accurate training records, provide support with e-learning systems and continuously improve training materials in line with best practice.

About You

  • Experience delivering health and social care training across a range of subjects.
  • Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, Skills for Care requirements and current care legislation.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
  • Flexible, proactive and able to travel regularly across the North West.
  • NUCO and/or RoSPA qualifications are desirable but not essential.
