Rotherwood Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) on behalf of a well-established nursing home in Keighley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care and making a genuine difference to residents' lives. The Role

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality nursing care while overseeing the wellbeing of residents and supporting a team of Care Assistants. Working closely with residents, their families and healthcare professionals, you will ensure care is tailored to individual needs while maintaining the highest clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
  • Administer and manage medication in line with NMC and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor residents' physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate electronic care records and clinical documentation.
  • Lead, support and supervise Care Assistants throughout each shift.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, GPs and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Promote dignity, independence, choice and respect in all aspects of care.
  • Recognise changes in residents' conditions and respond appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding and infection prevention procedures.
  • Participate in clinical audits, handovers and continuous service improvement.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the nursing and care team.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Minimum of five years' post-registration nursing experience within the UK.
  • Previous nursing home experience is essential.
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Permanent right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS and satisfactory employment references.
