About the Role
Rotherwood Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to join a friendly team in Crosshills.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining general warehouse duties with deliveries to customers and other sites. It offers the opportunity to learn new skills, develop within the business and take on more responsibility over time.
The workload can vary from day to day, so the successful candidate will need to be flexible and willing to support different areas of the operation. Some deliveries may involve longer journeys, including London, with occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general warehouse duties, including unloading containers.
- Picking orders from pick lists and packing boxes and pallets.
- Using basic computer systems to check purchase orders.
- Handling and preparing handrail materials, including pulling lengths from wooden drums.
- Making deliveries to customers and other sites.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
- Supporting the team with different tasks as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a full driving licence and meet the company's insurance requirements for driving company vehicles.
- Be physically capable of lifting, pulling and handling materials safely.
- Have basic computer skills and good attention to detail.
- Be reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
- Be flexible and happy to help wherever needed.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
A forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
