About the Role
CAD Technician
West Yorkshire Salary: £30,000–£40,000 DOE Monday–Friday | Permanent
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced CAD Technician to join a well-established business in West Yorkshire.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD experience who is looking to develop their career within a technical and engineering environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings, supporting projects from design through to installation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Creating general arrangement, fabrication and installation drawings
- Developing layouts and pipework routes
- Updating drawings following design changes and site information
- Working closely with engineers, project teams, suppliers and other stakeholders
About You
- We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a CAD Technician, Mechanical Design or similar role.
- Experience within HVAC, M&E, mechanical engineering or building serviceswould be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
- AutoCAD experience is essential, while knowledge of Revitwould be desirable.
