Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Rossendale

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Full-time, Maternity cover

Daily Rate: £168 – £215 per day

About the English Teacher role:

Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons in line with the national  curriculum Plan and prepare high-quality lessons tailored to a range of learning  abilities Encourage a love for reading, writing and effective communication Monitor and support student progress through meaningful assessment  and feedback Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive  learning environment Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiatives

The ideal English Teacher will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching  qualification Have strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature (KS3 & KS4) Be confident in planning and delivering creative and inclusive lessons Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills Be committed to inspiring young people and improving outcomes for all  learners Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote student wellbeing
