Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development across the classroom.

• Working alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.

• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and SEND where appropriate.

• Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining classroom expectations.

• Helping to create a safe, welcoming and supportive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.

• Previous experience working within a school setting is highly desirable.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient, flexible and supportive approach.

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
